Welcome to 2024 LLC Summer Services!

 

Welcome to the 2024 LLC Summer Services! The Longview congregation along with other congregations in our region are pleased to serve God’s kingdom through arranging this event. The services will be held at the Kelso High School (1904 Allen St, Kelso, WA 98626), with views of the forest clad hills around the service site. The Summer Service motto is: “I will be glad and rejoice in thee.” (Psalm 9:2).

The service site will accommodate many RVs and camper trailers (dry camping only), along with space for tents. We will have reservations available for these sites via the LLC website at a later date. There are also many hotels and campgrounds in the area, in addition to those listed below. This web page will be updated with current information on the service schedule, lodging, camping reservations, food service, and more as the information becomes available.

General Information 

 

This year, there are some key schedule updates to be aware of. First, as agreed upon in the 2022 LLC Annual Meeting, the services are shifting later one week and will be held after the Fourth of July, July 6–9. Additionally, 2023 is the 50th anniversary of the LLC – we will have a special program on Saturday, July 8 to commemorate this milestone. Services will start at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, and close at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Finally, with the hosting of services at the LLC property every other year, we are requesting assistance from all North American congregations in the filling of work shifts. SignUpGenius will be used and the link to volunteer can be found above.

Food Service  

 

Food service will be similar to the 2022 services. Lunch and supper menus will include a variety of grill options, pizza and salads. Meal tickets can be purchased at the meal ticket sales booth. If you pre-ordered meal tickets, please pick those up as well at the meal ticket sales booth.

RV Sites for 2023 are currently full.

 

Tent camping will be available south of the main service area and on the property of the Laestadian Lutheran Church of Monticello. You can sign up for tent camping using the link above.
