Songs of the Journey is a collection of 18 hymns and songs that reflect the believer’s walk through life, looking toward our shared hope of heaven. Seventeen selections come from Songs and Hymns of Zion, along with Earth Is So Lovely, an English rendition of the Finnish hymn Maa on niin kaunis. Originally a pilgrims’ song, it reminds us that the angels’ song of Christmas continues to bless each day of our journey. This album was recorded in Finland after LLC’s 2024 International Choir Camp. It features a choir of singers from four countries, directed by Viena Kontkanen and Liisa Keranen, with instrumental accompaniment. May this collection of songs bring comfort and encouragement as we travel life’s road together.
